Commencement Day
The 57th Annual Commencement Ceremony will be held on May 16, 2025 at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, NJ.
Commencement starts promptly at 12:00 p.m.
About the Venue
The Freedom Mortgage Pavilion offers an enclosed, climate-controlled theater for up to 7,000 people, making commencement as comfortable as it is exciting. This venue will allow the family, friends, and loved ones of our Graduates to have an unobstructed view of the stage during this monumental moment. Graduates will have their names read aloud as they walk across the stage of the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion.

Alumni Trustee Candidate Search
The Student Affairs division is launching a search to find its 2025 Alumni Trustee. If you are completing your degree and would like the opportunity to be elected by your peers to serve a one year term as a non–voting member of the Camden County College Board of Trustees, now is the time to apply for this position.
In order to qualify for this position, Graduation requirements must be completed during the year 24-25 year, December 2024, May 2025; demonstrated high academic achievement; active participation in college activities and in community service; willingness to carry out the responsibilities of serving on the Board of Trustees (monthly meetings, committee meetings.)

Commencement Speaker
Apply now to be considered for the 2025 Commencement Speaker. If you are completing your degree and would like the opportunity to address your fellow graduates at our commencement ceremony, here is your chance.
In order to qualify for this position, Graduation requirements must be completed during the year 24-25, December 2024, May 2025, August 2025. Auditions for the Speaker will be announced at a later date for applicants to perform their speech in front of a selection committee.
Deadline to apply is March 28.

Applications can be completed online through your Student Portal/Self Service.
To ensure your name appears in the official commencement brochure list, the graduation application must be submitted by Saturday, March 15, 2025.
Potential Graduates would have been sent a letter to complete a graduation packet with their faculty advisor or Advisement Center staff. While completing the Graduation packet process, potential Graduates will indicate if they are walking in the ceremony.

It is strongly suggested that graduates participate in the Commencement Rehearsal on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Dennis Flyer Theater to practice and walk through the Commencement Day agenda.
A Graduation Picnic will be held immediately following the Commencement Rehearsal. Graduates should celebrate with your fellow graduates in the Wilson Courtyard on May 15, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. for a free picnic with your classmates, faculty and staff to celebrate the Class of 2025!

During the ceremony, graduates will have their names read and have the opportunity to walk across the stage to be congratulated by the President and platform party.
The ceremony is expected to last approximately two and a half hours. The center is not climate controlled and may be cool when the outside temperatures are below 60 degrees, so graduates please dress appropriately.
All graduates are expected to remain until the end of the ceremony.

There are no tickets required for entrance into Commencement. Seating is on a first come, first served basis.

The venue has free parking available to those attending commencement. Students and guests may also utilize the NJ Transit River Line if needed.
Graduates who have special needs as mobility restrictions and require special accommodations should contact The Accessibility Center at accessibilityservice@rf518.com with the subject line “Commencement-Graduate Accommodations".
The official dress regalia is cap and gown. Graduates are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes since they will be standing for long periods of time before the ceremony. Business casual attire is suggested.
Graduation regalia can be purchased, in person, at the bookstore in Blackwood, or Camden starting on April 2, 2024.

Absolutely! Celebrate your message to all graduates, friends, and family. Please make sure they have positive messaging for all see.
Please email your Honor Society Advisor for updates on how to pre-purchase regalia before the event. Honor stoles are not available to purchase on Commencement Day.
CCC graduates are automatically members of the CCC Alumni Association. There are no membership dues to pay.

Diplomas are ordered after applications are approved by the College’s Registrar.
Once the order is sent to the vendor, it takes approximately 7 weeks. After the diplomas are received you will receive an email notification and it will be posted on the website commencement page and social media.
Note: August 2025 graduates will receive an email when their diploma is ready for pickup sometime in October.
